Description of Janteng Plain catgut suture

Janteng plain Catgutsuture is sterile, natural absorbable​​.The suture uses animal originated suturetwisted filament, with  brown color.

Janteng catgutsuture thread is obtained from the thin intestine serous layer of a healthybovine free of BSE and aphtose fever. Because it is an animal originatedmaterial the tissue reactivity is relatively moderated, it can be absorbed by fagositosis in approximately 70 days.

The catgut thread keeps its tensile strength between 14 and 21 days, the patients factorscan make such tensile strength times vary.

Frequentlyused in tissues  has easy healing and does not require permanentartificial support.

Both Janteng Chromic and Plain Catgut sutures  can be absorbed more rapidly ininfected tissue than non-infected tissue as well as when coming in contact withsecretions exhibited in the stomach, cervix and vagina.

The major components in this catgut suture uses elicitmoderate tissue reaction during absorption reaching up to 70 days. There are varies ofsizes from USP 3 to 6/0.
